Fire hydrants for inspection and testing should be installed on the roof of high-rise buildings for use by the unit and the fire brigade to regularly check the water supply capacity of the indoor hydrant water supply system.
The length of the filled water column of the test water gun shall not be less than 10m, and the length of the hose shall be 25m. Considering that some roof water tanks are difficult to meet the water volume and water pressure requirements of the roof fire hydrant, the water pressure requirements of the roof fire hydrant should be guaranteed after the fire pump is turned on.
Roof fire hydrants in cold areas should have anti-freezing and drainage venting measures or be installed in the top equipment layer or water tank room.
