
Working Principle and Application Explanation of Pressure Reducing Valve
The installation of pressure relief valves is very easy. There are instructions for the installation and use of pressure relief valves on the packaging box or in the box of each pressure relief valve. According to the instructions, you can easily understand the shape structure and installation method of pressure relief valves, ensure the normal use of pressure relief valves, so that you can comfortably use pressure relief valves for a long time.
Pressure relief valve installation must be strictly in accordance with the arrow direction on the valve body to keep in line with the direction of fluid flow. If the water quality is not clean and contains some impurities, filters must be installed at the upstream inlet of the pressure relief valve (we recommend that the filtering accuracy should not be less than 0.5mm).
Pressure relief valves play a certain role in the pipeline, in order to prevent the harm of water hammer, small expansion tanks can also be installed to prevent damage to pipelines and valves.
The filter must be installed in front of the inlet pipe of the pressure relief valve, and the expansion tank must be installed behind the outlet pipe of the pressure relief valve.
If you need to install the pressure relief valve in the hot water system, you must install a check valve between the pressure relief valve and the expansion tank. This will not only allow the expansion tank to absorb the volume of water increased by thermal expansion, but also prevent the influence of hot water reflux or pressure fluctuation on the pressure relief valve and ensure that the pressure relief valve works normally for a long time.
Regulating method of outlet pressure of pressure relief valve:
1. Open the black lid on the relief valve, find the place to adjust the pressure at the outlet of the relief valve, and twist the spring of the relief valve counterclockwise to the loosest state with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the black plug of the pressure gauge interface on the pressure relief valve and install the pressure gauge to the pressure gauge interface.
3. Install the relief valve on the pipeline and close the ball valve or gate valve behind the relief valve.
4. With a word screwdriver rotating clockwise, the spring force gradually increases. It can be found that the pressure gauge reading is constantly increasing. When the required outlet pressure value is reached, stop rotating and cover the black lid again, so as to avoid dust or other dirt from falling into the body of the relief valve.
5. Open the ball valve or gate valve after the pressure relief valve, open the tap or other water appliances after the valve, observe the pressure gauge reading on the pressure relief valve body, you can find that the pressure value at this time is slightly smaller than the pressure value just set, this is normal, because the pressure adjustment is carried out under static pressure, when someone uses water. When water passes through the spool, there will be a certain liquid resistance, so the pressure will be slightly lower, and when no water is used, the pressure will return to the set value.
6. If it is necessary to reduce the outlet pressure of the pressure relief valve installed on the system, first close the ball valve or gate valve at the inlet of the pressure relief valve, open the ball valve cargo gate valve at the outlet of the pressure relief valve, relieve the pressure at the outlet of the pressure relief valve, then adjust the pressure regulating spring to the loosest, close the ball valve or gate valve at the outlet of the pressure relief valve, and open the pressure relief valve. The ball valve or gate valve at the inlet of the pressure valve can be rotated clockwise again and gradually increase the pressure at the outlet of the pressure reducing valve to the desired value.
